1st annual (heh) Chicago Fringe Festival, Sept 1-5, 2010

I received the following today from a dear friend in dire straits:

The Chicago Fringe Festival is less than 2 weeks away and guess what?  We still need volunteers!!!  Come help us and be a part of the first Chicago Fringe Festival!!!  Your help won't go unnoticed, of course.  We will provide all of our volunteers a tshirt and this will allow you to see
several of the 46 shows that are being showcased!  Above all, you can say that you were apart of the first CF festival!  And then when you and your friends are sitting around having drinks and someone mentions the Chicago Fringe Festival, you can look serious at them and say, "Yo, Dude.  I was there, Man.  I was in the action."  That's just an example.  You can say whatever you want.

Some positions include Venue Managers, Box Office Team, Ushers, Concierge, On-Call Volunteering, Fringe Centralites, etc.

*Above all of these, we need stage managers!!!* 

All in all, we would appreciate any time you can give, whether it be the full 5 days or just one short hour.  Please go to our website listed below and start filling out the application.  If you really would like to stage manage, please notate that in your application or you can contact our Production Manager, Rachel Staelens at rachel@chicagofringe.org.
