I need an ASM for "Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum"
Position starts July 11th for Buena Park Civic Theater, non-equity or union, small stipend. Outdoor Theater is beautiful. Great Cast and Team. 18 + 18 crew not inlcuding designers/volunteers. Need someone to be me (I know)...able to multi-task, schedule rehearsals, confirmations, meet/organize & coordinate with designers and Tech fast approaching. We are currently in produciton... Monday thru Thursday eves 6-10p plus Saturday & Sunday. Show opens and runs August 6th Fri & Sat @ 8:15 thru Aug 28th. Tech load in starts July 24th. I mentioned that the team of designers are great, detailed but aloof... First time they have hired a professional PSM... Team is cool. Live in Culver City...would like someone I would have fun with... tech savvy (blackberry or iphone). I'm using Virtual Call Board. able to use email, microsoft software, not afriad to make an introduction "Hi My name is..... I am your Stage Manager. Would you like my assistance?" be Great if ASM could piggy back me... at rehearsal Tue, Thurs & Sat or Sun. Will train, have excellent sm skills. I am also a choreogrpher with my own dance company needing a SM when this show is over.
