Gladly!
The Rogues do all original work (so far). Our specialty is life-sized puppets and incorporating technology into onstage work, but we also do extensive mask work, shadow-puppetry, movement based theater, etc. The Ensemble (core decision making group) is made up almost entirely of designers, with a couple of performers thrown in the mix, so production value is very important to us.
Our mantra is if you can think it up, we can make it happen onstage. Some of the most interesting things that I think we've made happen are a giant 8ft tall operatable crocodile head (complete with subwoofers under the audience for when it roared), a flower that grows on its own onstage that is accompanied by flower smell being pumped into the audience, and an entire chase scene where the performers are pushed on hand-operated rolling carts.
Next year is our 10th anniversary and we’re going to do Pinnochio. It should be really fun! We’ve also got a show about origins going up this fall at the Inside the Ford space.
I think we're doing some of the most interesting theater in LA - but of course I'm biased.

If you’re interested in checking out what we’re up do, we try to keep our website fairly updated.
This site is so helpful and such an awesome resource! Thanks for helping to keep it going!
