How Many times have you stage managed?

I just graduated from college and I've SMed 12 shows and ASMed 6 in the last four years.

It's weird to boil it all down to that!

I'm just about to graduate from high school, and I've SMed 9 (3 musicals, 5 straight plays), and am currently working on another straight play. 3 (including the current show) are with community theatres, 6 are educational.

Another oldie chiming in here.  I have worked as a stage manager on over 140 productions (including about 30 event/ fashion shows) professionally.  If you add in educational and internships, my number is probably around 180.

Given all of that I have spent the last 18 months working on only one show and it's not even open yet!

Let's see, been SMing for two years and I've been SM for 1 performance event, 4 one-acts, 2 plays, 2 musicals....I think.  I've never had the pleasure to ASM a production, bit of a shame.

I've only done 2 shows, but for a rising high school sophomore, I think that's pretty good. One was made up of two one-acts and one was a musical.

I have SM'd 2 shows at my old college and Asm'd maybe 4-5 shows there as well. I also have had an ASM internship where I ASM'd 6 shows during the season and SM'd a children's show.
I have on SM show under my belt as well.

I have SM'ed 8 shows- 2 professional & 6 in college. 2 musicals, 4 straight plays, 1 dance show, 1 fund-raising concert extravaganza.
I have ASM'ed 7 shows- 3 in college, 4 professional, and was a PA for another play.
And I'm leaving in 5 days to start a year-long internship where I'll be SM for 8 more shows over the course of the upcoming season!

I was reworking my resume a few weeks ago and discovered that my upcoming show will be my 30th. That counts all my college productions, summer gigs and post-college work (so, not counting high school theatre). Crazy.

I have ASMed 11 shows (9 professional, 2 college; 9 musicals, 1 opera, 1 play) and SMed 7 shows (2 professional, 5 college; 4 musicals, 3 plays). And this has only been in 3 years.

So counting all of my Educational experience, I have PSM'd, SM'd, ASM'd or PA'd 9 shows in the past 3 years. 3 professional (2 were musicals) 5 university shows and one High school show.

Including all of my other work however, because I am also a freelance sound designer and Electrician and just general technician, I have done 34 shows in the past 3 years.

After 8 months on the roller coaster, I started by forcing my bored self into helping out the techies on my first ever play (as an actor). Since, I've ASMed twice (college), SMed once for a professional theatre and once for a play of 7-one acts (college [so that's 7 directors, 7 casts, 7 rehearsal schedules... and 3 crew, including myself. most exhausting experience of my life.) and I've just been recruited to SM for another play in the fall-- which, coincidentally, is the same play I first acted in!

Not a lot, but it's provided plenty of hair-pulling-out opportunities for me to be proud of having any left!
